Over the weekend, several banks have announced their provisional numbers on both, loan growth and deposit growth. Loan growth for IndusInd Bank, the biggest of the banks to announce the provisional numbers, came in a strong 18%+ YOY. Among other banks, Federal Bank also showed 16%+ growth in advances YOY while deposit growth was flat sequentially. IDFC First stood out in terms of growth with loan growth up 21% YOY and deposits also showing a similar uptick. Lastly, CSB announced its numbers with loans growing 16%+ YOY.
