The rough, turbulence flight for the airline sector is the big story on ET Now India Tonight. The story starts with the curious case of IndiGo. On 2nd July, over half of IndiGo's domestic flights were delayed...This after a significant number of cabin crew members went on leave...The phenomenon continued yesterday too with around 28% of the airline's flights getting delayed...Taking cognisance, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation has asked Indigo to explain the reason behind the chaos. But the story doesn't end here...In June, all airlines saw declining passenger load factors month on month,,,Air traffic volume too plunged in the same period...The total domestic air traffic volume went down around 8% month on month while for international, it fell around 2.7%.
