運営によるパーツ取り付け禁止やセッティングの禁止などの弾圧がきびしいVGTクラスのクルマたちの中で、弾圧を免れた数少ないクルマのひとつがこのトマホーク VGT Gr1。
カスタムパーツを装備してセッティングできることで自分の走りにあったクルマにできるので、走りやすさが格段によくなる。

前回は弾圧の弊害を受けたイタルデザインVGTで走ったんだけど、
エアロ無しで時速300キロ近いスピードで走るという無謀なチャレンジを余儀なくされて、ほんとに危なっかしいドライブだった。

今回のトマホークはばっちりエアロも装備できるしダウンフォースの効きも調整できる。至れり尽くせり。

レースはごらんの通り3周目でトップに立てて、そのままゴールまでという流れ。
イタルデザインのときはトップに立つまで4周かかったので差は歴然。
ラップタイムが8秒ぐらいちがう。


VGTクラスで楽に勝とうと思うならトマホーク VGT 一択しかないという選択肢の少なさがグランツーリスモ7のつまらないところ。
セッティングやチューニングする楽しみがなくて遅いクルマを誰が選ぶ??
