GTA 5 Online [Money & RP Guide] Reward Ratio for Best Jobs
331In this video I introduce my method for calculating and reviewing the best legit jobs in GTA 5 Online. The first thing you have to understand is that “best” is not based on the total amount of cash or RP; it is the highest ratio of rewards compared to time spent. Simply put, I’m analyzing what the most efficient jobs are using statistical evidence.
Now I’m sure you’ve seen those videos claiming how to get the “Best RP” or “unlimited cash” or other BS.
But there are 3 major flaws with those: A) they are mostly glitches that have already been patched or will be soon and therefore useless, B) they likely assume you’re already a high ranked player with truckloads of cash and resources, or C) they often take more time and effort than it’s worth for the amount of rewards received.
This is why we need consistent standards before making vague and unproven claims of being the best.
Take this example:
Let’s say job A gives you 9000$ and 1200 RP for 10 min of work, and job B gives you 2000$ and 300 RP for 2 minutes of work. At first glance you may assume job A is better because it gives more total rewards.
Time for some simple math; all we do is take the rewards earned divided by time spent.
In other words, 9000$ divided by ten minutes = 900$ per minute. 1200 RP divided by ten minutes = 120 RP per minute.
Do the same for job B and you would get 1000$ and 150 RP per minute.
Job B is statistically better for BOTH money and RP per minute.
In the same 10 minute period, you could have got more cash and RP from doing job B repeatedly instead of doing job A.
Job A (x1) 10min = 9k/1200RP total / Job B (x5) 10 min = 10K/1500RP total
That is why we need to consider TIME when determining the most efficient jobs.

Of course the distance to the job, difficulty of the mission, or other factors have an impact on the time needed.
With that in mind, I use the same standards to keep my testing consistent:
Remember the point is to figure out what the most efficient jobs are.
