CnC Club team: Spino92 and Jimbatron (Boss)

Back in 2012-2013, CnC Club members mostly played against each other competitively. When playing against randoms however we set ourselves the extra challenge of making it to the getaway on foot. I uploaded one escape for every getaway in my On Foot Series, but recently realised I still had some surplus attempts recorded as it took us a while to draw all getaway variations randomly.

I like this match for the good communication and coordintation between myself and Spino although sadly my mic did not record. Plenty of strong highlights, including a visit to Honkers, sniping a cop from the back of a Blista as they lean out of the window, and two cop helis turning up at the end.

0:00 Round 1 Scorecard
Spino92 recounts a story of some matches from the previous night with new players. It's a shame in a 2 v 2 match where both players have mics that mine didn't record so you can only hear one half of the conversation.
0:22 Round 2 Start
I am randomly selected as Boss and Spawn in Acter Industrial Park. I elect to retreat towards the powerplant as the Cops will come from the opposite direction
1:36 Cops arrive
Easily dealt with
1:46 Proceeding on foot
2:39 Cops catch up with us again
3:34 Proceeding on foot
I cross the river safely, but a cop is close behind. Spino92 dies off screen slowing the down
4:45 Sniping a cop who has crossed the river
5:04 Proceeding on foot
Spino92 takes out a lone cop at the end
5:44 Calling in at Honkers
Spino92 insisted! He takes out a cop at the entrance before we move on
6:37 Proceeding on foot
7:14 I take cover
Spino92 warns a Blista is coming. This present a problem that the back window, as any regular player knows, is glitched (incorrect use of collisions by R*) and effectively bullet proof. The random players on the other team may not know this of course, but if they choose to reverse by chance it would be a real threat. I take out one in a non-glitched vehicle with the M4. I prepare to use the RPG should a Blista go past my position
8:10 Blista driver sniped from distance
The Blista driver pulls away from my position to attack Spino92 creating a different opportunity to deal with him. I wait for him to lean out of the window, knowing the back window is glitched. A second one is taken out with the M4 as he drives towards me.
8:30 Making a break for it
Killing one cop as we go. For the next eight and a half minutes, one attacks periodically, but one at a time they are easy to pick off.
8:50 Proceeding on foot
9:48 Cops attack from both sides of the block we are at
Spino92 deals with both but is killed by the second
10:10 Sniping one of the respawned cops
10:30 Proceeding on foot
11:33 One cop killed
11:43 Proceeding on foot
12:33 One cop car arrives
12:49 Proceeding on foot
13:33 Nearly gauranga'd
This is a moment of luck - bad mixed with good. Bad that a cop car appears on my radar whilst I'm on the steps on a narrow walkway, leaving me vulnerable to being run over. Good in that the car jumps the steps and sails over my head.
14:08 Proceeding on foot
15:03 One cop car arrives
15:10 Proceeding on foot
At this point, we see nothing of the cops for a while - which means they've given up, or are planning to try something different.
17:01 Two cop helicopters arrive
Fair play to what were (presumably) two relatively new players for trying something different. However, they don't have the experience to use their helicopters effectively, and at this stage I am fully armed.
17:40 Heading to the getaway vehicle
Spino92 covers me from the respawns as I go
18:09 Getaway vehicle reached
