GTA SA Special Vehicle Guide: EC/EM Conversion (4 of 4)
Welcome to my Special Vehicle Guide for GTA SA! This Video will show you how to convert ANY Vehicle CJ can drive into EC/EM (Exclusive Color / Exclusive Modification) from "Los Desperados" with Mission Failure since it's the only way possible. Exclusive Color means the Vehicle's Color can never be found in traffic or parked, nor can the Color be acquired from a Pay and Spray, no matter how many times you respray it. Exclusive Modification is referring to a Modification on the Vehicle Model that normally wouldn't be there. In regards to this EC/EM Sandking, the Exclusive Modification would be everything done in the Transfender because you can't even drive a Sandking into a Mod Garage under normal circumstances and modify it, period.
Where Things Take Place in the Video:
0:40 - 6:15 - Beginning "Los Desperados" and going through the Mission like normal while leaving one enemy alive so I can park a Vehicle on top of him without killing him and then driving to Transfender
6:20 - 9:25 - After entering Transfender and when the Mod Menu appears, I open up Colors and just keep it there until the next part of the Mission begins at which time I waste Cesar to fail the Mission
9:30 - 11:20 - After the Mission is failed, running on foot up to the nearby Verdant Bluffs/El Corona Safehouse Garage in which contains the Vehicle(s) I want to convert into EC/EM form and converting them (in this case a Sandking) before exiting Transfender with the EC/EM Sandking
11:25 - 13:15 - Taking the EC/EM Sandking back to a Garage
13:55 - 16:05 - After saving the game, reloading the Save and checking on the EC/EM Sandking to show it off
***The Method I show in the Video will work for EVERY Platform and Version out there for GTA SA.
Out of all the EC/EM Conversions, this is probably the least recommended due to the fact it requires a Mission Failure, or, at least that is what I think. Maybe with explosives you can waste all those remaining Vagos unlike any other guns. If you could continue on with the Mission, you could keep the Mod Menu with you even after it's passed and then this wouldn't require a Mission Failure. All other EC/EM Conversions can be done with PASSING the Mission and converting up to four Vehicles into EC/EM at once if you want to.
You CAN convert up to FOUR Vehicles into EC/EM form that are inside the SAME Garage. In order to accomplish that, all you have to do is fully modify your Vehicle of choice, but then exit your Vehicle (you'll have a black screen and doing this blindly) and then enter another nearby Vehicle in your Garage and do the same process to it. Rinse and repeat until all four Vehicles are converted into EC/EM form and then fully exit the Transfender!
***IMPORTANT*** - Not all Vehicle Mods will work. It all depends on the Vehicle Model you're trying to modify as well as the actual Modifications you're selecting! For instance, if I were to try and mod Hydraulics on an NRG-500, the game will crash! But if you install the same Hydraulics on a Sandking, the game will NOT crash!
***ANY TIME YOU SEE*** the "Mod Menu" on your screen after failing/passing a Mission, it ultimately means you not only can use it for an EC/EM Conversion, but also an AP Conversion and an EC Transfer Conversion, and all without OM0. With that said, whether OM0 is used or not, the EC/EM Conversion, AP Conversion, and EC Transfer Conversion still needs the Mod Menu in order to do it and it feels very cheap to me, so I don't recommend any of this stuff using Conversions for your main Save Files! Not to mention, there IS an OM0 Method for an EC/EM Conversion AFTER 100%, too. How about we just obtain Special Vehicles legit rather than converting them? Every time an EC/EM Conversion is used, it's in fact recorded in the Stats by the "Vehicle Modifications" Budget Stat.
