GTA San Andreas - Chiliad Challenges! 3 Very Messy Wins! I Forgot How Mental These Were!
At the Chiliad Mountain peak (South West of the map, unlocked when you open San Fierro through main missions) there is a mountain bike which starts a race when sat on, these are day time races only so use a save to skip nights, and save between races because they are insane!
There are 3 races and all downhill, sensitivity is wild, the terrain is crazy, the fails are infuriating, the wins will set you free!
Try to side smoothly and avoid netting and NPCs, they are equally unforgiving! I used to do these so well on PS2, I've either lost it or its more sensitive on PS4 port, either way caution is faster than outright speed, and as I prove in my fail wins, it does provide some wiggle room to make mistakes so don't worry if you mess up, its all experience, first get to know the path, then perfect your movement.
And as you may expect, the higher your bike skill the easier this will be, less likely to fall off and smoother to control in general. And stamina will help you stay faster longer, with max stamina you can basically sprint the whole race without issue, its just remembering when and how to brake for those really wild tricky corners.
There is also some wiggle room for the red markers, you don't have to hit them exactly, and if you fall off the wooden walkway in the 3rd race you can use bunny hops to get them, the higher your cycling skill the higher you can bunny hop.
