GTA V Special Vehicle Guide: EC Dark Red Frogger with EC2 Black Rims
0In this Video, I show how to obtain the EC Dark Red Frogger with EC2 Black Rims from "Three's Company." After I obtain it, I reload the Save and show that it's still there.
Don't worry!!! Killing Franklin like I did in the Mission will NOT register a Death in Franklin's Stats!
Be aware that I showed a Method that will work for ALL Versions and Platforms of GTA V. However, if you're on PS3/360 Version 1.00 like I am, you can technically just use the Snapmatic Camera Trick on this Frogger without having to go through the Mission. Just drive up to the Lot and park Dave's Oracle in the Street nearby and then run up to the Frogger on Foot and do the trick on it and fly it away!
Speaking of Dave's Oracle...It's a SP Oracle (1 of 2) but I will NOT be recording these Oracle's since they are INFERIOR. You can get the SAME SP Oracle later on but only later on, it will be SP/EC and not just SP, thus the SP Oracle's are Inferior and won't waste my time recording them.
This is the first Special Frogger to be seen in GTA V and it's quite bizarre in terms of the Properties since it has EC2 Black Rims but obviously no Helicopters have "Rims," thus this Property is going to be Invisible and only seen when looking at the Save through a Save Editor.
When I was storing the Frogger, I looked like a noob since I forgot I was playing as Trevor and wanted to store it on the Helipad in Los Santos but since I was playing as Trevor, his Helipad is all the way in Sandy Shores. Note to Rockstar: 1 Character is better than 3.
Note that there is another Special Frogger in the Mission which is a Lustered/UP/EC (Blank) Dark Red Frogger! That Frogger always has Alloy Rims and Random Lusters, while the Frogger from this Video has SET Metallic Black Luster and Rims. Technically, the Rims aren't EC2, but they are mentioned as EC2 Rims to differentiate the two Froggers from each other and to avoid calling this Frogger EC-only, so people would think it's Inferior. It's not Inferior, it's Special and it's just a different Color Combination which you can't obtain from the Lustered/UP/EC one!!!
The reason why the Rims aren't technically EC2 is because on Unpatched Old Gen, you can BUY Froggers on the Website and sometimes those will have Metallic Black Rims (but NEVER the same EC Body!!!). I call this Mission Frogger with EC2 Rims since you can NEVER see the same Dark Red Body and Black Rims Combination on ANY other Frogger except for this one!
Another thing, this specific Frogger also has an Invisible EM! It has a "Blue on White 3 Plate" which you can't find on any other Frogger. Though, Plates on the Froggers are obviously Invisible. On Old Gen, the Secondary Color is Visible and it's the Winch Cover, but on Next Gen it's Invisible!

Secondary Color: Metallic Cabernet Red (Winch Cover EC on Old Gen, Invisible EC2 on New Gen)
Set Luster Color: Metallic Black
Wheel Color: Metallic Black
