GTA V Special Vehicle Guide: PP Packer (1 of 2)
0In this Video, I show how to obtain the PP Packer from "Minisub (Offshore)." After I obtain it, I reload the Save and show that it's still there.
Make note that this Special Vehicle is only obtainable on Unpatched Old Gen and all New Gen Versions! The reason for this is because the Packer needs the Interior Garage to be stored. On PS3/360 on Version 1.00, you can use the Interior Trick like I show in the Video to store it. For New Gen, a new Trick has been found which allows you to store Large Trucks in V's Interior Garages, for that consult MM KJ's Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JIxAy2_0f_o
!!!CAUTION!!!! - If you want to obtain this Packer OR ANY OTHER LARGE TRUCK in GTA V for your Save File, DO NOT STORE ANY OF THEM in the FOURTH Save Slot inside the Interior Garage! The Slot I am using in this Video is Slot 1. You can use Slot 1, 2, or 3, but Slot 4 will break your Interior Garage for good and you do not want that to happen! Furthermore, if you ever enter your Interior Garage to retrieve a large Truck and see it's on its side, simply EXIT the Interior Garage and then RE-ENTER. Rinse and repeat this process until it spawns on its Wheels and then quickly enter it!
As you can see, like the Lustered/EC Hauler Video I uploaded, the PP Packer is on its SIDE when I enter the Interior Garage. But when I exit, enter, exit, enter it over and over, the Packer eventually will be on its Wheels and I can quickly enter it and take it out of the Garage. For ANY Truck on its Side, you must do this!
Technically speaking, you can obtain this on ALL PLATFORMS of V. If you want to obtain it on Patched Old Gen, you could and TEMPORARILY KEEP IT at Floyd's House (storing it a specific way to make it fit, but will be jammed in there), but you still won't unlock Trevor's Strip Club Parking Spaces in time before you MUST move the Packer out of there when you lose the Safehouse later in the Story. So at the end of the day, this PP Packer is only obtainable on Unpatched Old Gen and all New Gen Versions...
On Next Gen, PP Property is NOT deleted when you store a PP Vehicle inside a SAFEHOUSE Garage. Even if you have PATCHES INSTALLED for V on PS3/360, you can store PP Vehicles in SAFEHOUSE Garages, as well, and not lose them, but ONLY IF you play on PS3/360 and more importantly Version 1.00 can you keep this FOREVER! On 1.00, PP is deleted when you store something inside a SAFEHOUSE Garage, so don't do this.
To make it simple, if you're on PS3/360 and playing on Version 1.00, NEVER STORE A PP VEHICLE INSIDE A SAFEHOUSE GARAGE. Only use the Interior Garages or Impounds when possible. These will retain the PP Property ONLY unless you play with Patches installed.
This is the Black Colored PP Packer from Minisub, however, there is also a Red Colored PP Packer from Pack Man, but the Red one requires 3 Busted Stats on Unpatched Old Gen. It does not for Patched Old Gen and New Gen.
