GTA VC - Cop Land + 10 Asset Missions (No Failures) (PS2)
Glad I trusted my instincts. In the previous Video Description I made note about how terrible Cop Land can be. The moment I loaded my Save to try and do this Run, starting with Cop Land? Yup. Failed it two times. So indeed, as I imagined, I would of had to REDO the entire 1 Hour and 7 Minutes from the last Run, all because of shitty spawns with the Cops. There is times you should save and are surely risking everything, and times where I know for a fact, the game will NOT fuck me over, thus I continue. Rockstar loves throwing a random, horrible, luck based trash Mission in the mix all the time. They give you 80 easy Missions and like 2 luck Missions. Gotta be very aware of all those luck based Missions so you can save before them.
Also, I love how this game is cursed and taunts me. This could of actually been the LAST VIDEO, since, at the end, I unlock "Cap the Collector" which means, once that is passed, I can then do "Keep Your Friends Close..." which is the final Story Mission in the game and to get the credits. But, as you can see, I nearly failed this entire Run and had to REDO IT ALL. Meaning, you know, 80+ Minutes worth of boring stuff ALL OVER AGAIN and I was NOT going to let that happen, thus I saved at the Print Works after BARELY passing Distribution. It's all about strategy and I fucked up. The moment you get a ONE STAR WANTED LEVEL, you should drive away and wait for it to vanish, then sell more Drugs. But I was an idiot, got a ONE Star Wanted Level and sold a few more, which gave me a TWO Star Wanted Level. Here we go...Kamikaze time! I was rammed as if the Police Cars had a Heavy Property, and then had to drive all the way north to Hyman Condo to pick up the only SAFE Police Bribe I could think of at the time. By the end, my Mr. Whoopee had a flat tire, and was smoking BLACK. It doesn't help that Starfish Island is the best place to sell Drugs, but you have these idiot P.I.G.'s on foot and will randomly spawn into the game world with a Pistol and shoot the shit out of your Mr. Whoopee. A tiny bump, another bullet into the hunk of junk, I would of been on fire, meaning, reload, and do EVERYTHING again. Nope. I don't think so. So I saved, and got super lucky I was able to finish 50 Deals without destroying it. My instincts told me that I'd likely die or something would go wrong during Keep Your Friends Close... so I was not going to risk this 80 Minute Run, just to do the final 2 Missions in the game. I'll do those in the next Video. But seriously, who does 2 Missions and then calls it a "Run" and saves the game? I blame GTA Shitikia for all of this, as well as other places I looked online. One areas says complete 7 Assets for Cap the Collector to be unlocked, another says 6. So basically, I don't even think I HAD TO DO Distribution. I think if I just waited for that idiot to call me, I would of unlocked Cap the Collector BEFORE doing Distribution. Furthermore, I didn't even get to show The Driver or The Job (I wanted to) because Cap the Collector is now unlocked. I thought, I would do both of those Missions, Cap the Collector, and then Keep Your Friends Close... in the next Video, but turns out, it's only going to be 2 Missions rather than 4. 4 is also sort of pathetic, to save after only doing that much, BUT, The Driver is terrible and so is The Job (without Pay and Spray), thus it's warranted to save, but now without needing those Malibu Missions, it sort of feels strange doing the next Video and having it so short.
I even said all of this before doing any VC Videos. I either would be doing too much stuff (not required to unlock KYFC...) or not in the proper order. I only ever did this game to 100% before. You have to remember, all the Gang Missions are still on the Map, plus Demolition Man and Two Bit Hit, Sparrow Checkpoints, Import/Export, Races, and 5 Pay Phone Missions. Usually for 100% and with Special Vehicles, there is still plenty more to do and Missions to group together for LONG Runs that are worth while for low Safehouse Visits. First time I am ever reaching KYFC... without doing all the remaining stuff, so yeah, had no idea what the order was supposed to be. Oh well, VC can come to an end now, and only a much better GTA...SA, LCS, and VCS time!
Oh, and during Hit the Courier, I obtain the EC Black Sentinel for fun cuz why not?
