Guardians is an arcade developed by Banpresto in 1995. It was either this or Guardians of the Hood but I don't feel like torturing myself yet. So I decided to review a good game and Guardians it is.
Guardians has you playing as eight heroes that range from a big breasted blue chick with wings, a ninja dude who looks like a brown Strider Hiryu, a robot, a big muscular guy, a blonde chick, a samurai guy who some dude with sunglasses. They have names but in Japanese.
What's cool is that it has moves during the beat em up gameplay like it's a one on one fighting game. The game pretty much grabbed me from the beginning as the first stage opens up with these guys smoking in some military some and here you come beating the tar out of them. Now you have three buttons with one to jump, the other for attack, and then there's this button for you to shoot something. That's it. But don't worry, you have combos so feel free to push buttons simultaneously.
