Mario Kart: Double Dash!! is the fourth game in the Mario Kart series, with the earlier 3 being the ones for SNES, N64 and GBA. It was the first game in the series to feature fully 3D-graphics, and also had the special feature of having 2 characters on the same kart, as well as different characters having different special items they could get.
Mario & Luigi gets fireballs, Peach and Daisy gets a heart shield, Yoshi and Birdo gets the Yoshi Egg, Baby Mario and Baby Luigi gets the Chain Chomp, Toad and Toadette gets the Golden Mushroom (also Toadettes first ever apperance), Koopa Troopa and Paratroopa gets Triple Red & Green Shells, Donkey and Diddy Kong gets the Giant Banana, Bowser and Bowser Jr. gets the Bowser Shell, Wario and Waluigi gets Bob-Ombs and finally Petey Piranha and King Boo can get any of the special items!
