The new world boss Mordrem Vinewrath is a lot like the Marionette fight from the first Living Story. The battle takes place in the Silverwastes after you've either failed or succeeded in completing the Breach event. Head to the Vinewrath Tangle, you can't miss it since it'll have this huge red circle around the area on the map.

The event works like this; there are three lanes whose goal is to protect their siege units so they can blast open the vine walls and maintain their siege ammo. Once a wall is destroyed you can take on one of the Three Champions. Each lane faces a different one and if one lane fails the Vinewrath will destroy all the siege golems and reset the lanes. The next lane who breaks through will have to fight the undefeated champion.

Upon the defeat of all the Champions, you win and get some nice loot. You can even get the Carapace Coat chest which is the mostly highly sought after reward. You get it for beating this for the first time and I think can supposedly get it again with good luck? I dunno... There are also four locked bandit chests you can open if you have the keys.

This is a quick video on the Mordrem Vinewrath event, this time focusing on the battle with Champion Mordrem Beekeeper. This time on my Mesmer.

This guy is probably the easiest of the bosses and you'll face him if you go South. Problem is everyone seems to go to the South lane most so...It's going to scale up. So unless you need the achievements for it you're probably better off in one of the other lanes.

This main gimmick here is there is a Honeycomb in the little arena. This Honeycomb is needed to survive his killer laser. The Honeycomb starts out small BUT if you lure bees to it it'll charge and grow, protecting you from more damage depending on how charged it gets. So the goal is for at least someone to be trying to lure bee swarms towards it to get it big enough. That didn't quite happen here since not everyone knew the mechanics fully, myself included.

Other than that simple just avoiding AoEs and such. This one is probably the most melee-able of the bunch too, although you'd have to worry for his close up AoEs but he has a predictable pattern on them.

The Carapace Coat boxs continue to elude me...Yeah...RNG sucks. How is it some people can run this event a million times and get nothing but some people run it just five times and get all three? lol. I know Arena Net wants people to play this event but wish they had some other reward that wasn't so damn rare.

Plot twist: The Bees are your friends in this fight technically lol. Modremoth needs to fire the Beekeeper after this incident.
