Guild Wars 2 Heart of Thorns-Battle in Tarir

This is the big map event in the Auric Basin, the battle in Tarir! This one is interesting but requires a bit of coordination. This is recorded from the West perspective which is considered one of the harder lanes along with South.
Four Octovines have been planted in the city courtesy of the Modrem. One in the east, west, north and south.
These Octovines need to die within 2 minutes of each other since they regenerate otherwise.
Each of the four areas has different gimmicks to their Octovine. This video features the West perspective so you just turn into a shroom and make it to the Octovine without getting hit. You can glide while in sporling form. Then you just detonate on it to take away some of it's protection so you can eventually hit it.
Just keep in mind you'll want to wait for other players since if they get caught in your detonation they'll revert to normal..Even if you are gliding above the AoE it will still count as hitting you too.
The armors have the role on West of keeping the mobs off the players basically with their crowd control.. They also can move trigger blossoms so they won't detonate on players. Sometimes they can help in the burn phase but they really don't want to bring the Modrem stompers towards the zerg, who will taunt and launch. They also have some good healing skills.
This was a very solid map we had in this one. It usually does not go this well. I thought I'd have to cut as we waited for one lane to catch up but that did not happen we were all on point.
If you're new to this event just ask the folks in the area about it and they'll help. There are mechanics to each side that differ but nothing too hard as long as you know what to do.
Also this is the first vid of me actually on my Chronomancer now. I really enjoy it, although I've had to sacrifice parts of my build that made survival a little easier but..it pays off for that Alacrity, continuum shift and the shield's block skill is pretty amazing at times too. I'm still getting used to it but really is a lot better than Base Mesmer.
Lastly..That music at the start, it was my favorite song playing here again. I don't know the name of that track either but I do desire to know. It is one of my favorites.
