Hello and thanks for tuning into GamerU, your home for the best hints and tips for the hottest games. Today we’ll be looking at how to create a character for Guild Wars 2. When creating a character you will be presented with five options. Charr, Human, Norn, Asura, and Sylvari. From there you will pick the gender of your character. There are no gender lock races so you will have an equal experience with both genders. Once you pick your gender you will be able to select a profession. The professions consist of, Elementalist, Warrior, Guardian, Engineer, Ranger, Necromancer, Thief, and Mesmer. We will go more in depth with each profession in another video. After you have selected your profession you will then be able to alter your characters appearance. You will be able to change things like your characters Body, Head, Face and Armor details. There are three backgrounds to choose from when selecting a background for your character. Each one provides a different storyline on your main quest in Guild Wars 2. Charm, Dignity, and Ferocity will change the voice of your character. You will also be able to pick an ally who accompanies you on some of your quest throughout the game.
