3Aka, the new fight with Tequatl the Sunless! Notice how in the last video you basically just attacked it and occasionally moved out of the way? It's way more interesting now!
Since I made this video, the list of servers who have completed this event has risen, this is thus far the confirmed list from the Guild Wars 2 official facebook, Blackgate,Desolation,Tarnished Coast,Sanctum of Rall,Abaddon's Mouth,Seafarer's Rest
Vabbi,Pken Square,Fissure of Woe,Riverside,Elona Reach. Sadly my own Fort Aspenwood is NOT among them...And this was on a overflow server.
Now this fight takes about 80 people minimum, requires coordination and knowing when to dodge and what to target. Requires people to defend the turrets and people who know what they are doing to operate them. Do I think the fight needs a nerf? HELL NO! Maybe just something to prevent turret trolling. Either way, the fight is doable since quite a few servers have done it now. The current difficulty is high, yes but that means it's got to feel awesome once you actually do team up with everyone on your server to take Teq down!
The rewards are nice too, chances at getting the Tequatl mini, ascended weapons, etc.
