I apologize for the lateness on this one, I actually had some bad luck and wound up on a mega server with the event running but only one person was chasing the boss and such..

This is a pretty fun fight A-Net added in.

Do note that the starting location of this legendary is random and can vary. So it's not always going to be at a set spot.

It goes from Gendarran Fields to Timberline Falls to Iron Marches and repeats the process, changing maps every 6 hours. The event itself has a two hour respawn time and comes up 20 minutes past the hour. Check the Ley-Infused Lodestone to be sure of it's current or next location.

So the battle is a race against time trying to prevent this anomaly that has taken a humanoid shape from absorbing too much magic. You chase after it trying to break its break bar to stop it and hurt it.

Also when this event is up on a map, little sub events involving the Coalescences will appear on the map. They are marked by sword icons on it. If you arrive late it can be best to help with those. There is an achievement for stopping the legendary from absorbing them by killing the Coalescences before it reaches them.

Also I don't think I noticed in this video with all the zerging but there are little spots where you can press a button and go flying into glider mode. Definitely helps you keep better and makes it more fun.

I just like how you get to see the sights and how chaotic this event is, sometimes you run into other events and end up clearing those on accident lol. I think in this video some pirates were chasing the zerg near the end. People liken this event to chasing a ginger bread man.

It's also interesting story wise. Why did the Anomaly take this human shape, why does it cower at us if it's not a living thing with emotions?
