GundeadliGne - 1cc Run - Standard
This is a 1cc run (1 credit clear) of GundeadliGne on Standard difficulty using Eryth with Diamond Matrix Master. This is the Steam 1.01 version of the game.
Stage 1 - 00:00
Stage 2 - 04:14
Stage 3 - 08:45
Stage 4 - 13:18
Stage 5 - 17:09
-----
This run is special to me for several reasons:
- I reached 1 billion points for the first time.
- I got fairly high on the online leaderboard.
- I ended with all 5 lives and Phase Level 11.
- I got 16 Alter Breaks (I usually don't get the one from the final boss).

NOTES ABOUT GAME MECHANICS AND MY RUN:
- When Eryth's mana attack (the pinwheel thing) hits an enemy, the game slows down and the enemy bullets turn orange. This is an intentional game mechanic and not a glitch.
- I'm using Eryth with the Diamond Matrix Master because it's one of the easiest to use. The bomb is pretty good and recharges at a fast rate, but more importantly, it's the only Matrix that can stock up to 2 bombs at a time (all the others can only stock 1).
- I often get hit on purpose in order to control the Phase Level (see below). I also use bombs on some sections for the same reason. Managing the Phase Level is important, especially when you're new to the game.
- The higher the Phase Level, the more difficult the game gets (more enemy bullets).
- The max Phase Level for Standard difficulty is 11.
- I normally keep the Phase Level as low as possible when I play. For this run, I specifically let it increase for a better challenge and higher score.
- The ringing sound that you occasionally hear is the game's signal that you're getting close to overheating your guns from using rapid fire.
- Eryth's hitbox is centered on the little red cloth around her neck. During transitions, you can see it shaped as a red heart. You only lose a life when this specific area gets hit by an enemy bullet.
- Grazing enemy bullets refills mana.
- Collecting large green gems when you're not under the slow down effect of Eryth's mana attack refills mana.
- Collecting enough large green gems in a section of the stage causes an Alter Break and refills 1 empty life.
- Getting all 4 Alter breaks in a stage extends your life by 1 (the max you can have is 5).
- For some bosses, you have to intentionally avoid killing them too quickly, or you won't get enough green gems to reach an Alter Break.
THINGS THAT LOWER PHASE LEVEL:
- Getting hit
- Using a regular bomb
THINGS THAT RAISE PHASE LEVEL:
- Defeating a boss/mid-boss
- Using a counter-bomb (bombing immediately after getting hit - it prevents losing a life, but increases Phase Level)
- Overheating Eryth's guns
- Getting an Alter Break
