GUNFIELD is an excellent high-quality 2D-pixel art game that combines the genres of shoot 'em up, rogue-lite, and bullet heaven in development. The gameplay is addictive. You fly, and you collect experience to upgrade your ship, but of course, you always have more upgrades available than you can buy, so you have to decide. You will soon see which ship builds work for your gaming style and which don’t. GUNFIELD's obvious inspiration is Vampire Survivors, but it does not try to be just another carbon copy. It mixes the usual rogue-lite horde-attack bullet-hell gameplay with some aspects of classic vertically scrolling shmups. You control your spaceship like in a shmup, while its weapons fire completely automatically. Can't wait to see what comes next. Hope you enjoy my video.
