It was a day of celebration for Gurkha veterans in London today as they handed over bundles of evidence that will be used for an independent inquiry into Gurkha pension rights.

It comes two-months after Gurkha veteran Gyanraj Rai's 14-day hunger strike to bring attention to their cause.
