First try aka 0 grind, as can be seen in several points of the video (cough lupi). I just was feeling very nostalgic randomly while talking about old (in-game) times with a friend, which made me wanna do a staff tempest solo like in the old days, and figured hey, why not upload. For anyone who lived through them, I hope this makes you nostalgic too! For everyone else: this was THE solo build 2015-17, all records were done with it, frankly it might as well have been the only spec to exist in solo. Ironically it performs kinda better (or at the very least same) now than it did back then in solo, despite all the nerfs (and believe me, it got absolutely stomped into the ground by Anet), but the EoD solo-powerspike is to blame for that. In comparison to pretty much any other class right now, this is really garbage. But hey, moral of the story.. For newer players I guess it is “play what you want, as you can see it works!”, for older players “don’t be sad it’s over, smile because it happened” :D
