This is my first full classical song cover! I guess I am officially a piano player now haha.

I love this song and I plan to make it a song that I don’t forget. I’ll be playing this one regularly.

With my experience from Minecraft – Sweden, I found that this song was not difficult. The Minecraft song is similar in style but faster and with more complex and risky jumps on my left hand. The Minecraft song does not repeat itself either. Gymnopédie as a song repeats itself with two different endings. So I think that because I have already played a harder song of this style, this one came a bit easier to me.

I think that when I play regularly, I will omit the 2nd ending of this song. I much prefer the first ending. I think it’s easier to play and I like the cheerier sound of the 1st ending compared to the 2nd ending.
This song was difficult to record because of its length. I would regularly get to the 2nd ending and make a simple mistake that sounded horrible. That meant I had to play the entire song again and hope I do’t make another foolish mistake.

All of the footage in this video was taken by me. The idea behind the video was based on reminiscing on memories of the past. Whenever I listen to this song, I always imagine a person longing to be somewhere with their close friends and family in past times. So I just recorded footage of the Florida landscape and my close friends and family.
