Hacked Pokémon Gives UNFAIR Benefits. Here's Why
The widespread acceptance of cheating in the official competitive scene in Pokémon needs to stop. For Pokémon to develop into a proper eSport, you can not have this misconduct plaguing the official competitive scene.
In this video, I go in detail about why cheating gives an objective competitive advantage. The reason is simple: cheaters gain an advantage in time, which allows them to get more practise for battling and also better EV spreads without suffering any consequences.
The main point of this video is to highlight that the current cheating behavior that is common in the competitive scene for Pokémon is forcing out the real players, as it becomes excessively hard to compete against cheating tools.
Pokémon is part a logistics game, and to compete with players who just click a button to create what they want to use in official tournaments is not fair.
My goal with this playlist of videos is to be a voice of sanity in this path towards moral degeneracy that the Pokémon community is currently in. This includes the competitive scene with VGC, and also the shiny hunting category as "giveaway bots" and the cheating shiny hunters are devaluing real effort to get rare Pokémon.
