If you like mythology and roguelike games, this is a must-have! I find the time flies by when I play this game, and after 20 hours in I still look forward to New dialogue, which seems to be in abundance. Top tier voice acting, hand drawn animation from inspired artists at the top of their game, and solid soundtrack to boot. I just discovered God-mode and it doesn't even have any downsides. So even for people like me who are pretty unskilled, this game has plenty of appeal and replayability. For those unfamiliar with the genre, please note that while you do have to "start over from the beginning" after each death, you do get to keep certain items to unlock permanent buffs, weapons and abilities. If you don't care for dialogue no matter how well-written, this may not be the game for you. I find it's far easier to play on a larger screen because the text can be very small, but everything is rewarding to read and listen to without demanding much time or effort. I think the delivery is perfect. 10/10 for Hades from me. Playing on Nintendo Switch but if I knew about it earlier I would have got it on PC or Xbox sooner.
