Here I break down some of the nuances of my playthrough. Here was the original write up for the first completion:
Great Shinobi style game for SNES. Not as hard as I remember, but still early in.
Unless listed otherwise I am always playing the US version. This game has unlimited continues, but you start from the beginning of each stage, not the last section, when losing a continue. When losing a life you start the last section you got to, over. Similiar to many of these types of games.
To keep the video clean, I edited out any deaths. Each section still has to be beaten on 1 life and you get your health replenished for each section.
1-4 is a little bullshitty with instadeath pits that appear out of nowhere. You can memorize them, but I just started using the roll frequently and got into a rhythym with that, rather than memorizing the pits.
I used save states to practice 1-4 and the boss a little, before going back and putting the level together legit.
