0Game Information: Half-Life 2: Episode Two is the second in a trilogy of new games created by Valve that extends the award-winning and best-selling Half-Life adventure.
As Dr. Gordon Freeman, you were last seen exiting City 17 with Alyx Vance as the Citadel erupted amidst a storm of unknown proportions.
In Episode Two, you must battle and race against Combine forces as you traverse the White Forest to deliver a crucial information packet stolen from the Citadel to an enclave of fellow resistance scientists.
Episode Two extends the award-winning Half-Life gameplay with unique weapons, vehicles, and newly-spawned creatures.
Chapter Information: Emerging from Victory Mine, Gordon, Alyx, and the Vortiguant witness a large Combine force being led by Combine Advisors heading north towards White Forest.
Navigating a large canyon infested with Antlions and Antlion Workers, the trio manage to make progress only for an Antlion Guard and the Antlion Guardian to emerge and attack the group.
Forced to fight both of the large Antlion aliens, Gordon is eventually able to take them both down after a long and harrowing battle before reuniting with his allies.
After repairing a broken elevator, the trio discovers that the last Victory Mine Resistance base has fallen apart and become infested with hundreds of Headcrabs creating Zombies of all types lurking in the abandoned complex.
Alyx then spots an old Muscle Car located on a ruined bridge at the opposite end of the complex which the Vortigaunt explains will allow them to navigate the roads around the Outlands to journey towards White Forest.
With Alyx and the Vortiguant staying behind, Gordon navigates the ruined complex and fights off classic Zombies, Fast Zombies, Poison Zombies, and Zombines whilst using the various tools and traps scattered around the complex to eliminate the Zombies quicker. Alyx also uses a Combine Sniper Rifle to take out many Zombies as well, making Gordon's journey easier.
After navigating toxic rivers infested with even more Zombies, Gordon makes his way to the overpass and climbs up to the bridge ready to drive the Muscle Car over to the other side of the overpass.
However, another destructive portal storm from the super portal destabilizes the bridge forcing Gordon to use the Gravity Gun to repair the large superstructure.
After getting the Muscle Car onto the overpass, Gordon and Alyx say farewell to their Vortiguant ally and begin a lengthy journey towards White Forest.
