This is a demonstration of Half-Life 2: Episode Two with the Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium's native CMSS-3D HRTF. Of all the levels throughout HL2, the opening of "This Vortal Coil" might make for the most immersive soundscape in the entire series. You really feel like you're in the middle of a warzone even from just watching this footage. Thanks to the enhanced DS3D audio positioning, it's also much easier to tell where Antlions are coming from. I certainly had a much harder time the first time I played through this section.

This trick works with ANY Source engine game that supports snd_legacy_surround 1: Team Fortress 2, Portal, Counter-Strike Source, Black Mesa etc.
