In this part, our mute hero, Gordon Freeman, finds himself in a strange city, where the law enforcement officers are less than friendly and everyone seems to live under heavy control and repression. Well, our friend Gordon pretty much wanders around, happily exploring the game's physics as he throws random stuff at random people and cops and gets beat up ocasionally. He eventually finds his way to Doctor Kleiner's Lab, with the help from Alyx and Barney and finds his way into his beloved hazard suit.
