In this episode (covering the entirety of the chapter "Surface Tension"), Gordon Freeman navigates the wide open spaces of Black Mesa as he slowly makes his way towards the Lambda Complex. Among the way, he witnesses frantic and desperate fights between the invading aliens and US Marines, the former now sending in waves of organized Grunts to establish control and the latter bringing in military helicopters, tanks, and heavy artillery to counter the invasion. Unfortunately, Freeman himself remains a prime target for both the aliens AND the military, meaning that the fight for his life has just been pushed all the way to eleven...
[NOTE: This is a re-recorded higher resolution version of my original playthrough of Half-Life, with all the latest game patches from Valve as well as some third-party high texture mods and better lighting filters - nothing too drastic though, so as not to compromise the classic style of the game.]

04:00 - Past helicopters and minefields and into the storm drain hatch.
09:15 - Scaling the cliffs and beating off another Apache with a rocket launcher.
14:45 - Bringing down a couple of tanks with the new hi-tech weaponry.
20:25 - Past a couple of snipers and a huge minefield to get inside a building.
23:25 - A serious stealth challenge for all those who hate trip mines.
27:00 - Acquiring the Hive Hand and fending off yet another tank.
30:55 - The finest stockpile of goodies ever seen by mortal men.
33:40 - Taking care of the Osprey and getting access to another stock of goodies.
39:05 - The Hive Hand comes in handy against a real infestation of Vortigaunts.
42:40 - The Snarks really come in handy against those Marines.
47:25 - Major human vs. alien showdown in the hangar, and consequences.
51:50 - Getting through to the last guard to gain garage access.
56:55 - The Gargantua in the garage... and the airstrikes commence.
