Half-Life Deathmatch: Source - Deathmatch Maps
0The multiplayer deathmatch game of Half-Life 1, now in the Source engine, complete with the same enhancements and bugs from Half-Life: Source. Like with HL2DM, the game was released separately from the singleplayer game. It also has the inability to change the playermodel through the options since SteamPipe, like HL2DM. Most of the multiplayer maps from the original Half-Life have been remade into this game, making use of Source's enhancements like 3D skyboxes as well as effects, graphics, and physics.
This game has a notorious duplication glitch which causes each entity on the map to be placed twice in their same spots. This effectively doubles the amount of pickups on the map, but can also lead to oddities within the levels which can also cause certain areas to be permanently blocked off and/or inaccessible. This happens on any map, stock or custom. I think it's been around since SteamPipe as well, and it's the only one I'm concerned with at the moment.
