0https://www.runthinkshootlive.com/posts/gateway-2-shadows-of-death/ Before you ask, Gateway (the first mod) will not work for me, I have a place for mods that step outside the box in terms of what they try to be, I am always looking for mods that have horror elements but few have managed to impress me like Mistake, This one which released on February 20th 2001 by Michael Hindman is alright and it is scary but it doesn't match Mistake by a long shot.
Gateway 2 Shadows of Death begins right after the end of the first Gateway, You again control Alexander Freeman who has learned that a rift between the nightmare world and our world has opened after you recovered the stolen H.E.V. suit and now the world threatens to be turned to darkness unless you can stop it.
The mod has some Opposing Force weapons and models, What looks like facehuggers and Xenomorph alien creatures included too which made me think this is a Aliens mod that was repurposed, It has jumpscares yes and there's plently of ammo but the mod ends too soon on a rushed cliffhanger making me feel the author didn't know where to go next.
