Half Life Opposing Force (Easy) Part 7
0Now it's time to confront.. Disbelief and disgust and also surprise, Having listened to a radio broadcast from grunt allies, We enter now the domain of the most pathetic boss in the history of Half-Life.. and also Video Games? The Pit Worm has taken over this Waste Disposal area along with Pit Drones so it's time to do some tasks like we did in Blast Pit, Switch on obvious nods to Steam and Gearbox Software and drown the poor bastard in waste.
After that is done, We enter "Foxtrot Uniform", This location takes place around a area CRAWLING with Black Ops Soldiers, They have Snipers now which are hitscanning to the max, They also have rigged this Storage and freight area with Lasermines, Explosive Boxes and Fuel Canisters that will kill us outright if one goes off, We earn the last two weapons that are new in Opposing Force here:The M24 Sniper Rifle and the M249 Saw Machine Gun, Sniper Rifle replaces the Crossbow but it has less ammo you hold in reserve but it's just as powerful as the Crossbow bolts, M249 pisses ammo but it's good against Shock Troopers or Black Ops.
The 2nd part of Foxtrot Uniform is some of the most frustrating parts of any PC Game I've done, We enter the Steam tunnels under the storage area that has detonated and it is CRAWLING with Voltgores and also Baby Voltgores! This part is VERY hard to survive as their electrical attacks can take up to 40 health away and being too close as they explode also can hurt you, On the surface we meet up with another Medic, Heavy Grunt and Engineer, This time the Engineer is not useless..With a Desert Eagle.
In the ruins of this storage area is where things become brutal, The whole location has TOO MANY SHOCKTROOPERS! And only 2 Voltgores? The A.I. of your soldiers is not that great as I mentioned as they will actually run ahead of you into danger and that lead me to quickload some in this part, Then we approach the Dam we saw in Surface Tension and we meet..The garg making it's only appearance, Blow his ass up with Dynamite and enter a pipe towards another tough chapter:The Package.
