This is the place where the disaster is going to take place, the infamous (actually famous) Resonance Cascade. This level is an unforgetable reminder in the Half-Life franchise, and it will change things forever. When you push the crystal in the system, everything goes wrong. Was it the intention of the G-man (who delivered the crystal) or is it a coincidental catastrophe, the answer still lies unknown (Perhaps we can know more in Half-Life 2: Episode Three?). Anyway, it's a piece of mastery in the game industry, and every gamer should have been throught this level at least once! Happy playing ;)
