Big news broke yesterday for Halo Infinite, and it seems like bad news is the only thing to report for the Halo franchise lately. Joseph Staten has left 343 Industries and has returned to his former position in Microsoft publishing. Staten returned to the Halo franchise to help launch Halo Infinite, and now with his departure, what can this mean for the future of Halo and 343? Halo is the reason I fell in love with the Xbox platform, and if I had to choose one franchise to see rise to the top of the gaming industry, it would be Halo. As I state in the video, I don't have any details to speak of yet, but Staten leaving 343 during this critical year of Xbox Game Studios is worth mentioning. I'm sure I will revisit this topic in future videos and streams, but for now, this unfortunate news is nothing good for Halo, nor Xbox.
