1Is Forza Horizon in Trouble? Key talent behind the Forza Horizon franchise have parted ways with Xbox’s Playground Games to form a new studio called Maverick Games. How will these departures affect the series going forward? Last year, it seemed as if 2023 was going to be a supercharged year for Xbox Game Studios in terms of game development and releases, my hope is that consumer/players get what they hope for from Xbox first party studios. So far, news about the current state of 343 Industries and layoffs at Microsoft may say otherwise, let’s hope this isn’t the case. Happy gaming!
