Handmade Custom Controllers from BD Retro Mods!
32I was lucky enough to meet Brian D. of BD Retro Mods at CORGS-Con last year in Columbus, OH, and then again at TORG in Columbus. And we hit it off immediately - he was an incredibly kind person who had nothing but time for folks looking at his booth, and I was blown away by the quality of his controllers. But at first - I didn't really NEED anything.
But by the time TORG rolled around in November, I sure did. I made a beeline for his booth when I got to TORG, and the first thing I bought at the show was the Sega Master System arcade stick you see on the thumbnail and in the video. And, becoming friends with him, I saw his Track & Field controller, and I asked if he could possibly make me a Hyper Shot controller so I could finally play Konami Hyper Sports. And he knocked it out of the park.
I'm not getting anything from this out of showcasing a friends work. I'd love it if you took a look at his website, if you're in the market for a controller for a classic console - he's your guy.
