Hands OFF the Dungeon Masters Stuff| GM 911
Original GM 911
I have the following problem: At my table (where I am currently the GM) there are 4 players between the age of 20 - 25. My problem is that most of the players don't see it as a problem if their character sheet is missing (almost every session), or they don't have a pencil and constantly use mine without giving it back or even losing it over the session. How do you even lose something if it's in the same room as you are...
Now I have addressed this topic at my table and even explained to the players that it is a social norm, something everyone should do and that bad behaviour like this reflects the lack of respect towards your fellow players and the gm. But no one seems to care.
They are not particularly bad people or mean intended, but they just don't see it as important as I do. I simply don't like it when people take my stuff at the table without asking and don't give it back or even lose it or break it over the course of the game and then act like its not a big deal.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance,
Skaros.
