Little seen version of Hang On running on what is essentially a souped up Master System & yet despite this, it's probably the best playing version of Hang On. No G spot trick of the original games, no annoying turbo boost of the sequel, just better collision detection & 2 very tricky courses played back to back against a very strict time limit. A big crash anywhere outside of the last course without a lot of spare time built up & it's a game over. No crashes but a few bumps & excessive slowing along the way, game over. Pretty much any crash on the 2nd course & you might as well reset. It's tough
The timer bonus is worth a huge value so clean riding is a must. Ideally I'd want to finish the 1st course with around 14 seconds remaining & whilst I did manage that on several occasions, the 2nd course always put an end to me getting a good score. This was played for the recent Yolympics event & whilst I wanted to return to this one & get a good run, there was 19 other games to learn too. Had a great time learning this one though & I made top 5 overall in the event, which is my best ever placing
