Hard Hitter Tennis (2) Game Sample - Playstation 2

This is the U.S. version of this game. The reason I say this is because it's actually "Hard Hitter Tennis 2", but it's just called HHT in the U.S. Unlike PAL territories and Japan, the U.S. never recieved the first Hard Hitter Tennis. It's just as well, as the original was a rather mediocre game IMO. It was published by Atlus in the U.S. and Midas Interactive Entertainment in EU, and developed by Magical Corporation (Mahou). While I still think it's not particularly great, it enjoys relatively favorable reviews, so that is something to consider.
This game is a more simplified Tennis game, as simply pressing the action buttons (Circle, "X", Triangle, Square) will make a character align themselves to hit the ball (unless it is struck very far from your position). You can move your character and pull off a few trick moves, but you can win easily enough with just the fundamentals.
This game is ideal for people who don't regularly play Tennis games, but I found Virtua Tennis to be superior when it comes to control and challenge. This game does have a few perks that make it seem a little less like a realistic Tennis sim however. You can play a couple of interesting mini-games (though they are very easy and don't have many levels, but are probably more challenging than the CPU) and even play Tennis with three people against one. You can also make a character, but that feature sucks a lot. It's a decent Tennis game.
