HARDCORE - Claire A - Resident Evil 2 Remake Blind Playthrough Part 5
326*dun...tk...dun...tk* Claire placed each boot slowly on the floor, making as little noise as possible. Eyes glued on the horror that clung to the ceiling. It was a man with out skin and its hands were like the paws of a grizzly bear. It lingered like a spider waiting for the smallest of movements in its web before it lunged for the kill. Its brain was exposed and swelled beyond its eyes, it must have been blind. Claire kept her gun aimed directly at the beast as she slowly reached to feel for the handle of the S.T.A.R.S office, eyes still fixed on the creature. She turned the handle as slow as possible and stole her way in to the room before barricading the door on the other side.
She exhaled and took a deep breath, the first one in what felt like an hour. Wiping the sweat from her forehead she scanned the room. This was the office of the elite members of the force in Raccoon. Claire instantly knew which desk belonged to Chris. A dark leather jacket was thrown over the work chair and his guitar, he had since he was a teenager, was propped up against the desk. She remembered some of the times he would play and she would sing at their local bar... That felt like a life time ago suddenly. She gently plucked away at its strings and pulled his jacket close to her nose. She looked at his desk and saw a recent fax left on it. He was in Europe, he made in jokes about other members of the unit and it sounded like he was having a good time. He was safe.
Claire clutched at the jacket, "Thank God..."
