544This is the Hardest Levels Ever, a series all about the most difficult levels from whatever video game I wanna talk about.
Rather than discuss the usual go-to choices for difficult levels, (Battletoads) I'm more interested in covering lesser-known tough stages that no-one either talks about or knows about.
But do keep in mind that not all games are created equally in terms of difficulty; even the most evil stage in one game might still be easier than the easiest stage in another and particularly evil video game.
On the surface, the Professor Layton series looks to be a perfectly harmless, beautiful collection of games. Since 2007, the adventures of the gentleman professor and his apprentice have charmed millions across the globe, with an array of loveable characters, masterful music, intriguing mysteries and of course, brain teasers that'll challenge anyone.
From the moment I solved my first puzzle during my arrival to the Curious Village, I was hooked and had to see everything the game and later its sequels and prequels had on offer. But if you're the sort who cannot move on from a game unless you achieve 100% completion, then make sure you know what you're getting yourself into when you tread into the world of Layton, oh brave gaming warrior...
