[Hardest] LIMBO by MindCap (On stream) | Geometry Dash
787I've been following this level ever since the teaser, and back then I instantly fell in love with it. I've always loved memory, and for a little while I've considered myself one of the best memory players in the game. I wanted to prove that, so I decided that when this level got released, I would drop everything and go for it, no matter what it took. I'm so glad I did.
This took 5 and a half months, while dealing with college plus my depression returning. After 40 streams full of progress, fails, and laughs, I pulled it off.
The experience wasn't nearly as bad as some other ones I've had. I expected this to take a long time, as I do with all of my new hardests, so I set the bar pretty low. This level is super fun and satisfying to do runs on, but is a bit of a pain from zero. There are choke points scattered throughout (14, 48, 66, & 79, to name a few) that brought down my enjoyment a bit, and the beginning is pretty slow and grindy.
Personally, I think the best part of the level is Pennutoh. Hot take probably, I know, but from enjoyment, satisfaction and deco, thats the part that stood out to me the most.
I think the hardest part is Weo. The orb maze at 78, which is already difficult enough, has its difficulty amplified by nerves. It is already hard enough to get here, but passing it from zero is another story. Thank god I only had to do it once.
I still love this level, and I really wish I could've beaten it on higher detail, but sadly my PC just isn't good enough, and I'm a broke bitch.
I'd recommend this to someone that wants something difficult, as it is pretty damn accessible. Make sure you're fine with the slow beginning, though, as that could really bring down enjoyment fast.

I don't know if I'm going to do a new hardest again after this. I know for sure that this will forever be my hardest on 144hz, and I'm so proud to say that. Thank you everyone, old and new, who have supported me through this journey. I ain't done yet. 15 extremes away from 200, and I'm so excited.
