Here is the in-person recording of the Harnessing AI Tools to Elevate Writing Skills in EFL Workshop for Educators presented on 13 May 2024 by Mr. Michael Cheng (English Department, NCCU) and Prof. Jing-fen Su (Foreign Language Center, NCCU). This workshop is tailored for educators who are interested in exploring the practical applications of AI tools to enhance writing instruction.
Current and future language instructors will learn how
to maximize AI tools by:
Writing better prompts
Encouraging responsible use of AI tools
Creating custom chatbots with ChatGPT4
Using AI to guide students through the writing process
Using AI for grammar correction and feedback
No prior experience with ChatGPT is necessary, only an openness to innovation and a readiness to explore new teaching dynamics.
This workshop is designed not merely to teach writing but to reimagine the possibilities of incorporating cutting-edge methodologies into the EFL classroom.
