Chester the Jack Russell terrier featured in only two shorts, animated and voiced by Friz Freleng on behalf of Warner Bros. 1952 marked his first appearance, in 'Tree for Two' as seen here. Chester's 'pal' is Spike the Bulldog, who two years later was rechristened Alfie while co-starring in 'Dr. Jerkyl's Hide'.
Everyone is familiar with Scrappy-Doo, Great Dane puppy and nephew of Scooby-Doo. He was born in 1979.
