Haydenwoffle - Atari PoKEY Soundtrack (Recorded from Real Hardware)
More real hardware!
This month marks the second anniversary of this soundtrack, which is dearly valued in my heart, even with its more primitive and sloppy nature.
Giving it the authentic hardware treatment made me feel so nostalgic, for a good reason!
It's featuring some of my earliest pieces of original work, and also the first serious project I have been working on with my great friend Spring.
Experimenting with a different video format for this one, intended mainly for soundtracks, compilations or just several songs in 1 video.
The Oscilloscope visualisation was a bit rushed and lazy, but I think for this context it does work well enough.
If I had some better setup I would use something different, but the visualisations built in the video editor aren't very good, and Corrscope was the only other program I had at hand reach.
Since I didn't feel like recording the audio channels for another extra 4 times to render a complete oscilloscope view, I went with a monophonic render, using the audio I recorded directly.
Any suggestions for improvements or changes are welcome!

The music was made using Raster Music Tracker, then converted into executables using RMT2LZSS, and finally recorded from a NTSC Atari 800xl.
The Oscilloscope visualisation was generated using Corrscope, and the video edition was done using Kdenlive.
Thanks for watching.
