As requested by 돗자리위의개미, I'll be covering Haydn's Symphony No. 72 with the Pokémon DPP soundfont.
Just like his earlier Symphony No. 31 "Hornsignal", Haydn's Symphony No. 72 stands out from most of his other symphonic works by not only incorporating four horns into the orchestra, a number that was unusually high at the time, but also featuring surprisingly elaborate and soloistic passages for them. Indeed, at times one could be fooled into thinking this is a concerto for four horns and orchestra. Therefore it is no surprise that the music, especially in the symphony's first movement, carries a grand, almost weighty character to match this added brass prominence despite its very short length: five minutes at most even with all repeats in the score taken into account.
