Hey everyone, I’m back and here’s a comparison of the load times of Hearthstone and Clash Royale. Both games are card-based strategies, but Hearthstone is turn-based and Clash Royale takes place in real time. Now, clearly, Hearthstone is not only a mobile app, but it is apparent from this video that its load time is exceedingly longer and thus more problematic for casual players like me. As this comparison video shows, I was able to complete the whole single match in Clash Royale before I was even able to play a single Hearthstone card in my first match there.
Along with roping and prolonged times players use to make a decision, I feel that Hearthstone is getting really slow and even worse, it is becoming ever slower with each new expansion. I love the game, but this can hurt it in the long run and I’m not sure what Blizzard can do about it. Like always, I would love to hear your thoughts in the comment below.
