Hey everyone, thanks for stopping by to hear my take and thoughts on the Hearthstone Frozen Throne expansion called Knights of the Frozen Throne coming our way this August. Just a couple of months since the Journey to Un’Goro came out, the next expansion for this free online trade card game is on its way and with none other than the Lich King himself. It will feature free solo missions, lifesteal spell and the ability to play a Hero class card for the undead knight, along with its custom make-a-minion hero spell.

All of those looks great for the Blizzard’s multiplayer strategy game, but the thing that is bothering me here is the idea of matches in Hearthstone becoming ever longer in terms of time duration. I think that the ability to craft beasts will only further elongate play time and this is something that is slowly becoming an issue for me - I’m not particularly stoked about the idea of playing a single match over 10 minutes or longer on average (I suspect that Blizzard is trying to boost retention here in some shape or form). Still, I’m starting to save up gold and dust for the Knights of the Frozen Throne and I’ll be eagerly awaiting it in August!
