Heavy Rain (PS3) Playthrough - NintendoComplete
A complete playthrough of Sony and Quantic Dream's 2011 PlayStation 3 game, Heavy Rain.
The easiest analogue - think back to some of the old 90s FMV games like Johnny Mnemonic, Wirehead, Angel Devoid, or Foxhunt - it's essentially a FMV/Interactive movie, only it's being rendered in real-time 3D. Your mileage is probably likely to differ based on how much you like those types of games. I absolutely loved it, but it won't be everyone cup of tea for certain.
It's the second game of the loosely defined "series" by Quantic Dream, preceded by Fahrenheit / The Indigo Prophecy, and followed by Beyond: Two Souls.
Please note that the video is only running at 720p because that is what the game natively runs at on the PS3. The at-times massive amount of screen-tearing isn't a recording artifact, the game actually looks like this (for better or worse). It's odd though, while this game looks pretty good still, it's nowhere near as striking as it was when it was new four years ago. Things have moved along pretty quickly!
