Joe & Mac (GB) Playthrough - NintendoComplete
A complete playthrough of Data East's 1993 Nintendo Game Boy platformer, Joe & Mac.
I really like this game a lot. Even with the huge presentation downgrade on the Game Boy, it still looks great, plays smoothly, and is FAR more fun to play than the NES version because of the reasonable difficulty level.
I somehow got lucky enough to get the lightning as my first powerup. It's easily the most powerful of the different weapons, so I didn't bother picking up the boomerang, the arrow, the wheel, and the flame. It makes the game much easier!
And it's rare enough that the original monochrome games played voice samples, but they're surprisingly not distorted beyond recognition here.
